About

Hi, I’m Adam — a UX designer and UX engineer currently working as an Associate Manager at a global consulting firm born out of a partnership between two major tech companies. Most of my recent work has been with clients in the finance sector, helping teams figure out not just what to design, but how to actually get it built.

That “how” is something I’ve come to care about a lot. I studied experience design and interaction design, but what I really love is the technical side of making things — writing the components, building the systems, seeing an idea go from a Figma frame to something a user can actually click through. I think of my work in three overlapping pieces: the systems that keep a product consistent as it scales, the process that keeps a team aligned when priorities get messy, and the prototyping that lets people test an idea before it’s fully built. None of these are separate skills to me — they’re just different angles on the same goal, which is making sure nothing gets lost between an idea and the thing that ships.

I’m naturally curious about new technology, especially anything that changes how quickly a team can go from concept to something real — which is a big part of why AI-assisted prototyping has become such a core part of how I work. I do my best work inside teams, especially ones navigating ambiguity, where being collaborative and a bit of a strategic thinker helps more than having all the answers upfront.

Outside of work, I’m usually reading, deep in a video game, or at the table for a board game with friends. I love to travel and get outside for a hike when I can, and I share my home with a couple of cats who have strong opinions about my work-from-home schedule.

How this site was built

Structured and designed with Claude Design, built with Claude Code, and drawn from years of working the same way in Figma — this site is meant to be a small, working example of the process it describes.
